What is the difference between Indica and Sativa?

Sativa and Indica are the two main varieties of the cannabis plant which can be cross-bred to create a hybrid. Each strain has its own range of effects on the body and mind resulting in a wide range of medicinal benefits.

The effects produced from consuming an indica is typically described as a strong physical body high that will make you sleepy or ‘couch-locked’ and provides a deep relaxing feeling compared to a sativa. Sativas are known to produce a more energetic and uplifting effect.

Marijuana strains range from pure sativas to pure indicas to hybrids consisting of both indica and sativa at varying ratios (e.g. 60/40, 50/50, 80/20). Because sativas and indicas have different medicinal benefits and effects, certain strains are better suited to treat specific symptoms and illnesses.

Indica-dominant marijuana strains tend to have a strong sweet or sour odor to them providing a very relaxing and strong body high that is helpful in treating general anxiety, body pain, and sleeping disorders.

Indicas are very effective for overall pain relief and is often used to treat insomnia for many people. Indicas are most commonly consumed in the late evening or right before bed due to their sleep-inducing effect.

How do I order?
  1. Browse Inventory: Locate the products you are interested in ordering
  2. Add To Cart: Click on the desired product(s), choose your quantity then click “Add to Cart”
  3. Checkout: When you have all your products in your shopping cart and are ready to Checkout, click on the shopping cart icon (top-right of your screen) and you will be redirected to the View Cart page
  4. Enter Discount Code: Check to see if everything looks right, if you have a coupon code enter it and click Apply Coupon. When you’re ready click on the orange Proceed to Checkout button
  5. Accept Terms & Condition: Once you have filled in all the required fields, you will need to accept the Terms and Conditions (located on the bottom of the page) then click “Place Order”
  6. Payment Instructions: On the Checkout Confirmation page, you will see your order number and instructions for sending a payment. Orders will only ship after payment has been received
  7. Tracking: Once payment is received, your order will be processed and will ship within 24 hours. We will email your Canada Post tracking number as soon as it is available
  8. Delivery Times: Once your order has shipped, delivery time will be between 1-5 business days. Orders shipped via XpressPost are guaranteed to be delivered within 1-3 business days
How will my order be packaged?
  • All packages are discreet and smell proof
  • Product is first placed in a food-grade zipper pouch then vacuum sealed to eliminate odours and seal in freshness
  • Product is then placed in a box and inside a generic Canada Post envelope with a shipping label
Can I add/edit/cancel my order?

If you would like to add or edit your order, you will need to enter a new order and we will cancel your original order. Please contact live chat or email [email protected] with the order number you would like canceled.

If you have placed an order and sent a payment but would like to change your order, simply contact us as soon as possible to avoid extra shipping costs.

If you would like your order canceled and it has not shipped yet, please email [email protected]. Orders that have been shipped cannot be canceled.

Free Gift with Minimum Purchases

A free gift is available upon reaching order minimums. Any free gifts must be added at checkout. Free gifts will not be sent separately and unfortunately no exceptions will be made. Kindly ensure that you choose your free gift otherwise the item will not be included in your order.

Do you issue refunds or exchanges?

We do not issue refunds or exchanges for most products. If you believe that you have a defective product please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the product. 

Is there a purchase minimum?

The minimum purchase value is $100.

I've sent my payment. What is next?

Once you have sent your payment, it could take up to 1 hour for us to receive it. Your order will be pending until we confirm payment has been received.

If we receive your payment by 12:00 pm PST Monday to Friday, your order will ship the same business day otherwise it will ship the following business day. Once your order has shipped, the tracking information will be sent to you by email.

What will happen to my order if I don't submit payment?

Once you have placed your order, the next step in the process will be to submit payment. Your order will be kept On Hold until we receive your payment. If we do not receive your payment within 2 days, your order will be canceled.

When will you ship my order?

If your payment is received by 12:00 PM PST (3:00 PM EST), it will ship the same business day. If your payment is received after 12:00 PM PST (3:00 PM EST), your order will ship the following business day. Orders with payment received on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday will ship on Monday.

How long does delivery take?

Orders shipped via regular service by Canada Post or UPS will take 1-5 business days on average, in some cases it may only take 1-2. If you live in a remote area, your order may take an extra few days. Orders shipped via XpressPost are guaranteed delivery between 1-3 business days, extenuating circumstances notwithstanding.

Canada Post or UPS will manage the shipping of your package. We will not be responsible for delays due to weather, carrier error, or other delays beyond our control. We will not refund your shipping amount if the delivery is late.

Do you ship outside of Canada?

We do not ship outside of Canada.

What are the shipping fees?

Shipping fees are $25 but are waived on orders over $149.

Orders are shipped by Canada Post or UPS and a tracking number will be emailed after your order ships. You will receive your order in 1-5 business days. Please allow an extra couple of business days if you live in a remote area. Orders shipped via XpressPost are guaranteed delivery between 1-3 business days.

If you would like your parcel sent with Signature Required you must indicate this in the notes section of your order. This service is subject to an additional charge.

Your delivery is guaranteed (except for residents of Nunavut, Northern Quebec or if you provide an inaccurate/incomplete address).

Can I ship my order to the nearest Canada Post Office?

Yes this is possible! You will have to sign up for Canada Post’s Flex Delivery service and use the address they provide.

Lost Orders
BudLyft assumes no responsibility for lost orders due to:
 
  • Incorrect address provided by the customer (including typos or auto-correct errors)
  • Customer change of address / residence prior to shipping
  • Theft after delivery
  • Package being rejected upon delivery (by doorman or other)
  • Errors committed by Canada Post or UPS
We no longer use a return address. Packages with incomplete/ incorrect addresses (such as missing unit number) will be undeliverable and not returned to us. No refunds or replacements will be issued. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU PROVIDE YOUR CORRECT ADDRESS. Contact us immediately for corrections before paying.
 
Since the tracking information is provided prior to delivery, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure someone is available to receive the package at the time and date of the expected delivery. Packages deemed by Canada Post as ‘successfully delivered’ will not be refunded or replaced free of charge. 
Signature Required
We recommend that all orders over $400 are sent via Canada Post or UPS with signature required. Our customer care team will reach out to you to arrange for this shipping option. BudLyft cannot be held responsible in the event that the customer chooses not to use the signature required option and the carrier shows ‘delivered successfully’ but the package is lost. 
How do I track my order?

The tracking number for your order will be emailed to you once your order has shipped. Please use the link within the email to track your order.

Why doesn't my tracking number work?

If the tracking number does not work, it could be due to the reasons stated below:

  1. The Canada post website has not yet updated their system to include your tracking number. Please allow until the end of the day and try again.
  2. Please ensure that the tracking number is typed in correctly.

What happens if I don't get my package?

If you have not received your order 48 hours after the estimated time of arrival, contact us immediately via live chat on our website or email [email protected] and we will file a trace with the postal company.

If a trace is filed, the postal company will conduct an investigation (which can take up to 7 business days to complete). If they can locate the package, they will ship it to you and you will get it a few days later. If it is deemed “unrecoverable”, we will send you a one-time replacement package, free of charge.

We do not offer postage refunds if your order arrives late due to any postal issues.

My package says delivered but I haven't received anything. What is happening?

There are two likely scenarios:

  1. The courier put it in the wrong mailbox, or
  2. What often happens is that the courier will scan in all the packages saying they were “successfully delivered” then spend that day and/or the next day delivering it.

If you do not get your package 2 days after the expected delivery date, let us know and we will file a trace with the postal company. The company will open an investigation which can take up to 7 business days to complete. If they can locate the package, they will ship it to you and you will get it a few days later.

Who is eligible to purchase on your site?

Anybody over the age of 19 who is in Canada is qualified to purchase cannabis through our site.

Is it safe?

 

It is now legal to obtain cannabis through the mail to your door and be in possession of cannabis in Canada. We are one of many dispensaries in the B.C. area that are NOT operating under the federally-approved medical marijuana system. BC residents have been shipping cannabis in the mail since the 90’s. Due to the recent legalization of cannabis, it is now even safer to order and use marijuana in Canada.

Do I need ID?

 

For the purposes of order processing and for claiming the referral bonus, we reserve the right to request for identity verification to authenticate your name, age, and shipping address. Upon completion of verification, your ID will be removed from our system and deleted permanently.
